It is a Turkmen neighborhood founded by people from the Karakeçili tribe, who came from the Urfa/Birecik region, in the village of Bezirgan with a population of approximately 1200, 42 kilometers from Kaş and 12 kilometers from Kalkan. The old name of the neighborhood was Pirha, and the village was given this name because the people who settled were Bezirgan/Merchant Karakeçili Turkmens. Most of this tribe still live intensively in Urfa and its districts. The excitement of the news published in the British newspaper The Times is experienced. The people of Bezirgan are shown in the newspaper as one of the six secret places to visit in Turkey, whose village was published under the signature of Annabelle Thorpe.
