The magnificent monument at the end of Uzun Çarşı street is a tomb from the 4th century BC. The work consists of a single block. It is called the King's Tomb because of the lion heads on it. At the beginning of the works that have survived from the Lycians are the tombs carved into the rocks in some of the Lycian cities and the sarcophagi scattered on all sides. This is the most magnificent of these Sarcophagi.
Of the 6 caves around Kaş, the Blue Cave, 18 km away from Kaş, Aşirlı Island Sea Cave, and Güvercinlik Cave, which is famous for its pigeons, are the most famous. From a bilingual inscription that met in Kaş, it was definitively understood that the city under Kaş was Antiphellos. However, its older name is Habesos. B.C. IV. In the 16th century, Antiphellos was a very small settlement on the seaside and was the port of the city of Phellos, a little above it. However, while entering the Hellenistic period, Phellos regressed, while Antiphellos developed and came to the fore. This situation continued in the Roman period. Thanks to the cedar wood trade and sponge business, the city developed from the port status of Phellos and became a self-sufficient rich city.
